The Story of the Church in the Village

Growing up in Carlisle, Eric has always had a heart for his hometown. After marrying Nicole, originally from Hamilton, OH,  they decided to make Carlisle home. Eric and Nicole have always been active in ministry, commuting to Hamilton, Oh and Camden, OH to serve. In 2013, they began to feel a pull to the town in which they call home.  In 2013, they began to lead bible studies in homes in Carlisle, and with the persistence in prayer of family and friends,  in the spring. of 2015 decided to answer the call, with the support of The North American Mission Board, to plant The Church in the Village in Carlisle.  The Church in the Village now meets as a missional group in Eric and Nicole's home, with plans to multiply that group in the coming months. The passion of The Church in the Village  is to make a positive impact in the Carlisle community in the name of Jesus Christ.
